I have a dumb question. ... What is the difference between a mod pack and a plug in? mod pack alters the game right?

A mod pack is a client-side, well, pack of mods that make installing mods easier. Rather than going through the process of installing a mod individually, mod packs come in customizable launchers. A plugin is server-side only, so they don't affect your client whatsoever.

Is this why Mojang is so against them?

It also could be seen as a breach of copyright, seeing as they're using Minecraft to support their modpacks in a launcher that gives no credit to Mojang

Little confused on the 'Guest' thing at the bottom of the 'Currently Online' section, is a guest somebody unregistered with the forums, looking at the page?

Yes, it also does it for people who haven't logged in. It's quite annoying and unavoidable :/

"Online guests" shouldnt be an issue... it just shows you there's an online entity browsing the forums who hasn't logged in or registered an account. Since posting for guests should be disabled by now (I havent tested it yet) they can't do any harm at all .

I can't see it on the app actually. The fact that I know it can be seen on PC bothers me though.

I have another question. Is Mojang ever gonna fix the animal mob issue? Everytime the server upgrades my horses, dogs, cats, cows, mooshoos, and chickens despawn. Is it a bukkit issue? I had like 30 plus of my animal bebes and most of them named. Taming them took a lot of work. lol I will be getting some more eggs back but it is annoying to see them disappear EVERYTIME there is upgrade, and it has happened 3 times already. I will wait till we have 1.7 to respawn them. Should I contact Mojang on twitter ? LOL Oh yeah the funny thing is my sheep are still there in my barn, isn't that odd? I think Miki might have saved them... LOL

Sheep do have a tendency to linger, all on my anamals 'disappeared ' once, no way they despawned, but the sheep were still there.
